| China’s Internet Users Grow By 51 Million In 2012 Posted: 15 Jan 2013 07:27 AM PST China has around 19 percent of the worlds population, with a total of 1.2 billion people and in 2012 there were 51 million new Internet users, making a total of 564 million people in China using the Internet, which is just below half of China’s population. The increase of the 51 million new Internet users was around 10 percent of the total users in China, and even though China’s Internet is still censored more and more people are beginning to use it.

| AT&T Offering $100 Credit With Nexus 7 On 24 Month Contract Posted: 15 Jan 2013 07:11 AM PST US mobile carrier AT&T are offering a $100 credit if you purchase a Google Nexus 7 tablet with one of their data plans, the deal will give you a credit of $100 to your statement and it is available through the Google Play store. In order to qualify for the $100 credit, you will need to sign up to a new two year contract for data with AT&T and will then have to pay $299 up front for the Nexus 7 tablet.

| LG Says There Is No Problem With Nexus 4 Supply Posted: 15 Jan 2013 06:46 AM PST When Google launched their Nexus 4 smartphone last year, the device was met by high demand, and it is currently shown as sold out on the Google Play Store, as soon as the device comes back in stock it sells out in a matter of hours. According to LG there is no problem with the supply of the Nexus 4, and that production of the device is proceeding as planned, an LG official has been quoted as saying that Nexus 4 production is proceeding ‘without a hitch’.

This is a possible hint that Apple has a new model on the way, as previous stock shortages in the past have occurred before the release of a new device, although Apple is still showing the device in stock.

| iPhone 5 Users Using More Data Than Other Smartphone Owners Posted: 15 Jan 2013 02:41 AM PST According to a recent report by Arieso, who recently conducted a study in Europe of smartphone users, owners of Apple’s iPhone 5 are downloading more data than other smartphone users. The report says that owners of Apple’s iPhone 5 are the ‘hungriest’ data consumers using 50 percent more data than owners of Apple’s iPhone 4S and four times as much as owners of iPhone 3G users.
