iStrike Shuttle iOS RC Flying Toy Drops Ping-Pong Bombs

Square Enix mobile games could get cheaper soon

Philips Hue Smartphone Controlled Light Bulbs Announced

Philips has announced a new light bulb which is designed to be controlled by eithet your smartphone or tablet, the Philips Hue, which is a web enabled LED lightbulb and you can use your device to change the color of the bulb.

As well as changing the color of the Hue with your smartphone, you can also turn light of and on and controls them remotely via the Internet when you are away from your house.

Google Nexus 7 Now Out Of Stock At Google Play Store

Both the 8GB and 16GB models of Google’s Nexus 7 tablets are showing as out of stock at Google’s Play store, we have been hearing that Google is going to release a new 32GB model which will retail for $249 and that Google would drop the price of the 16GB model down to $199.

As Google are now showing both models out of stock, it looks like they are getting ready to update their store with the new models at the lower prices for more storage.

Microsoft Surface Tablet Gets Taken Apart

Microsoft’s new Surface tablet recently launched, and the guys from iFixit had their screwdrivers ready to tear down the Surface to find out what was inside this new Windows RT tablet.

According to the iFixit team, the Surface wasn’t that easy to open and it ended up with a repair ability score of just 4 out of 10, which means it will be harder to repair than some other tablets.

Nokia Lumia 822 For Verizon Leaked Again

We have already seen a couple of leaked photos of the new Nokia Lumia 822, which is Verizon’s version of the Nokia Lumia 820, and now we have another photo of the handset courtesy of @evleaks.

The photo came along with details that the Nokia Lumia 822 will be available in three different colors, which as you can see from the photo below, include black, white and grey.

Amazon Takes A Swipe At Apple’s New iPad Mini

Apple’s new iPad Mini launches this Friday the 2nd of November, and Amazon has put a new advert up on their homepage where they are taking a swipe at Apple’s iPad Mini, and comparing it to their Kindle Fire HD tablet.

Amazon quotes Gizmodo in the advert basically saying that the Kindle Fire HD has more pixels per inch than Apple’s new iPad Mini, you can see the advert that is appearing on Amazon below.

Vodafone To Launch New Mobile Wallet Payment Service In 2013

Vodafone is teaming up with m-commerce company CorFire for a new mobile payment service that Vodafone intends to launch in 2013, the new Vodafone mobile wallet will allow the companies mobile phone customers to pay for services with their mobile phone.

The new Vodafone mobile wallet will be NFC based, and they will be able to pay for both goods and services with their mobile phone some time in 2013, Vodafone are initially focusing the new service on Android based devices at launch.

Steve Jobs’s Venus Superyacht Unveiled (Video)

One thing that the late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs was working on before he passed away was a superyacht, unfortunately Mr Jobs didn’t get to see his yacht finished, but it has now been completed.

The superyacht is a 26o foot yacht which has apparently been constructed for lightweight aluminum and features an interior designed by Philipe Starck, complete with 7 iMacs, have a look at the video below.

Google Nexus 10 To Feature 1.7GHz Exynos 5250 Processor

Earlier today we saw a quick video of Google’s new Nexus 10 tablet, and now we have some more specifications on this new Nexus device, it will come with a 10.1 inch display with a resolution 2560 x 1600 pixels at 298.9 ppi.

The Google Nexus 10 will also feature a Samsung dual core Exynos 5250 processor clocked at 1.7 GHz, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of built in storage, plus NFC, WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0.

iPad Mini Pre-orders Sold Out

On Friday Apple put their new 7.9 inch iPad Mini up for pre-order, and shipping of the device quickly slipped to two weeks on many of the available models, although there were still some of the device available to pre-order for delivery on the 2nd of November.

Apple’s store online is now showing all of the versions of the iPad Mini with a shipping date of at least two weeks, so it looks like Apple has sold out of their initial pre-order stock of the device.

Nook Simple Touch GlowLight Lands In The UK

Barnes & Noble has announced that their new Nook Simple Touch GlowLight is now available in the UK, they also announced that their Nook HD and Nook HD+ tablets are now available to pre-order in the UK and they will be available next month.

The Nook Simple Touch GlowLight is available in the UK for £109 from today at a number of retailers which include John Lewis, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Dixons, Waitrose and more.

Apple’s New Mac Mini Gets Taken Apart

Last week as well as announcing the new iPad Mini, Retina Display 13 inch MacBook Pro and their new iMac range, Apple also announced a new Mac Mini, and the guys over at iFixit decided to take it apart to see what was inside.

According to iFixit the new Mac Mini scores a repair ability score of 8, which means that the device is easier to repair than some of Apple’s other new devices which have been introduced recently.

Samsung Beats Nokia Again As The Worlds Largest Mobile Phone Maker

Nokia used to be the worlds largest mobile phone maker, previously Nokia had sold more mobile phones than any other company each year for a period of 14 years, Samsung knocked them off the top spot, and they have now kept their place at the top for the third quarter in a row.

Samsung shipped a total of 105.4 million mobile phones worldwide for the quarter to the 21st of September, this is up 21 percent from the previous year, and they now have a 23.7 percent share of the mobile phone market.

iPhone 5 To Launch In India November 2nd

Apple’s new iPhone 5 was rumored to be launched in India last Friday, although it would appear that the handset was delayed due to shipping issues, and now it would appear that Apple will launch the iPhone 5 in India, this Friday the 2nd of November.

It looks like the iPhone 5 will also be rolled out to some other countries on the same day, which may include Thailand, Malta, Romania and Bulgaria, as well as some more countries.

Samsung Galaxy Note II Coming To Verizon Today

Google LG Nexus 4 Wireless Charger Poses For The Camera

We just heard that the new Google LG Nexus 4 is expected to come with wireless charging, and now we have a photo of the wireless charger that will be used to charge the handset.

Google LG Nexus 4 Manual Reveals 8GB And 16GB Models

One of the new devices that Google will unveil when they reschedule their Android event will be the new LG Nexus 4 smartphone, and now some manuals have appeared online which reveal that there will be an 8GB and 16GB version of the LG Nexus 4.

The guys over at Engadget discovered the support manuals for the LG Nexus 4, and some more details on the handset have been revealed, which include that it will come with wireless charging and there will not be a microSD card slot.

32GB Nexus 7 Tablet Turns Up At Office Depot

Google was expected to unveil  new 32GB Nexus 7 tablet at their Android event today, the event has now been cancelled due to Hurricane Sandy, but the 32GB Nexus 7 was spotted on the weekend at an Office Depot store.

Joe Wilcox from Beta News, snapped the following photo of the 32GB Nexus 7 which was on sale at his local office depot, and the tablet was priced at $249.99 which is what Google previously sold their 16GB model for.
