Apple iPad Mini Gets Official

As expected today Apple has today officially announced a new addition to their range of tablet devices with the unveiling of their new Apple iPad Mini, which has been rumoured for sometime and is just 7.2mm thick, a quarter thinner than the new 4th generation iPad.

The new Apple Mini iPad also features a smaller 7.9 inch touchscreen display equipped with a 1024 x 768 resolution, the same as the larger iPad tablet, and the Mini iPad is also powered by a dual-core A5 processor.

Tabeo Kids Tablet Now Available at Toys “R” Us

Last month Toys “R” Us announced its new kit-focus tablet called the Tabeo. The tablet runs the Android operating system and has a seven-inch screen. At the time the tablet was announced toys are us noted that would be available to purchase this month.

Apple’s New iMac Gets Official

Apple has announced an new iMac which features a completely new design and it comes with an ultra thin design and the edge of the new iMac measures just 5mm, making it 80 percent thinner than the previous one.

The new iMac will come in a choice of either a 21 inch display or a 27 inch display, it also features dual microphones and a FaceTime HD camera which is capable of 720p video.

Apple has this just announced the arrival of a new addition to their range of MacBook Pro notebooks, with the unveiling of their new 13 inch Retina Display Macbook Pro, which sports a massive 4,096,000 pixels in its screen.

Thew new 13 inch Retina Display Macbook Pro is powered by an Intel dual-core Core i5 or i7 Ivy Bridge processor, with specifications starting equipped with a 2.5 Ghz dual-core i5 processor, supported by  8GB of RAM and a 128GB solid state disk (SSD) for $1699, and its available to purchase from today.

Apple’s iOS 6 Is Now On 200 Million Devices

Apple is holding their iPad Mini event at the moment, and they have just announced that over 200 million iOS devices have upgraded to iOS 6 in just one month, and according to Apple this is the fastest upgrade to any mobile software ever.

Apple also announced that there are 700,000 iOS apps available in the app store, and 275,000 of these are iPad apps, and the total number of apps downloaded from the app store has reached a massive 35 billion.

Apple will be announcing the new iPad Mini in just a few hours, and they are also expected to launch a new 13 inch MacBook Pro with a Retina Display, and now the guys over at Gizmodo have spotted something interesting in Google.

Apple To Live Stream iPad Mini Event On Their Website

Earlier today we heard that Apple would live stream their iPad Mini event on the Apple TV, and now it looks like the event will also be live streamed via the Apple website.

Apple are expected to announce their new iPad Mini along with a number of other devices, which may include a new Retina Display 13 inch MacBook Pro, a new Mac Mini and also a refreshed iPad with a Lightning dock connector.

New Office Web Apps Arrive On SkyDrive

Just in time for the official launch of their new Windows 8 operating system, Microsoft has today rolled out the final versions of its Office 2013 Web Apps to its cloud storage service SkyDrive.

The suite of Office Web applications has been available in SkyDrive since July 2012, but has only been available in a testament preview mode, for testing and tweaking by Microsoft.

Apple Store Goes Down Ahead Of iPad Mini Event

Galaxy Note II To Land On AT&T October 25th

Samsung is set to officially announced their US version of the new Galaxy Note II on the 24th of October, the device is expected to on all the major US networks and now it would appear that it may be available from AT&T on the 25th of October.

We have already heard that it will be available on Sprint on the 25th of October and also on T-Mobile on the 24th of October, so the 25th seems about right for AT&T.

Google Chromebook Sells Out In Less Than 24 hrs

After only going on sale earlier this week via the Google Play store, Samsung’s new Chromebook has already sold out, less than 24 hours after initially going on sale in the Google Play Store.

Iron Man 3 Official Trailer Released (video)

Amazon Discontinues Kindle Touch (Rumor)

Recently we heard that Amazon had discontinued their Kindle DX, the device was removed from Amazon’s website, and now it would appear that Amazon may have discontinued the Kindle Touch.

Amazon’s website is now showing the Kindle Touch as ‘currently unavailable’ with no mention of when the device will be in stock, although Amazon is pointing people towards its new Kindle Paperwhite, so it looks like the Paperwhite could have replaced the Kindle Touch.

Samsung’s YOUM Flexible AMOLED Display Delayed Until Next Year

Samsung announced earlier this year that they would be putting their new YOUM flexible AMOLED smartphone display into production before the end of 2012, and now it would appear that Samsung has delayed the display until 2013.

According to a recent report by, Samsung has had production problems with their new YOUM display, and also their current AMOLED displays are so popular that they have had to increase production in facilities which were to be used for the flexible displays.

Dropbox iOS Update Adds iPhone 5 Support And Removes Image Resolution Limit

LG Optimus L9 Lands On T-Mobile 31st October

Samsung Galaxy Premier (Superior) Turns Up In Benchmarks Again

Last week the Samsung Galaxy Premier or GT-I9268  appeared in some benchmarks, and now the device has turned up again, this time in the GLBenchmark, but it would appear that the device may feature a different name than the ‘Premier’ when it launches.

Ceramic Subwooofer By Joey Roth Now Available To Pre-Order

Apple’s iOS 6 Now On 61 Percent Of Devices In US And Canada

Apple launched the latest version of their mobile OS about a month ago, and now according to a recent report,  in the US and Canada Apple’s iOS 6 is now on around 61 percent of devices.

The news comes from Chitika who also said that after two weeks, Apple’s iOS was on around 50 percent of all devices, so it looks like iOS 6 adoption has slowed slightly over the last few weeks.

LG Rep Confirms LG Nexus 4 To Be Announced October 29th

Google are holding a special press event on the 29th of October, they are expected to announce a number of new devices, which include the new LG Nexus 4 smartphone which is rumored to come with Android 4.2 Key Lime Pie.

Now an LG executive has told IBNLive that Google will announce the LG Nexus 4 on the 29th of October, and the handset will launch in India one month later, he did not reveal any details about when it would be available in the US.

EE UK 4G LTE Network Tariffs Revealed

EE, which is a collaboration between Orange and T-Mobile is the UK’s first 4G LTE network, the service launches on the 30th of October and now EE has announced its tariff’s for devices on its 4G network in the UK.

EE’s tariff prices start at £36 a month, this is for a 24 month contract and for this you get 500MB of data and WiFi, plus unlimited calls and texts, the top plan will set you back £56 a month and this gives you 8GB of data and unlimited calls an texts.

Nokia Lumia 510 Launches In India (Video)

We have been hearing rumors about the Nokia Lumia 510 for a while now, and Nokia have now launched the handset in India, and according to Nokia it is their most affordable Lumia smartphone to date.

The Nokia Lumia 510 features a 4 inch WVGA multi-touch display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, processing is provided by an 800MHz processor and the device also comes with 256MB of RAM and 4GB of built in storage.
