| Google buys Green Parrot Studios to enhance quality of YouTube video Posted: 19 Mar 2011 05:15 AM PDT We don't need to mention the popularity of YouTube, and speaking of it, YouTube may introduce some improvements in the future according to the reports. It seems that Google plans to improve the quality of its YouTube service after the purchase of Green Parrot Pictures. In case you don't know, Green Parrot Pictures is a company devoted to enhancement of video content, and so far, this company has worked on several blockbuster movies such as Lord of the Rings, X-Men and Spiderman. Green Parrot Pictures are famous for their techniques such as removal of flicker, noise, blotches and stabilization, but they are also working on technology that should improve video quality and playback speed while reducing the bandwidth usage at the same time. Acquisition of Green Parrot Pictures seems like a great move by YouTube, and we can't wait to see the final results in action. Even though this new phone is the first device from Nokia with Windows mobile it is not likely to be the last one, as Nokia and Microsoft signed last month an agreement, through which Nokia will make smartphones only on the Windows platform thus abandoning the Symbian OS.
Of course with this new OS, Nokia has a few new applications that we can find on the Nokia E7 phone such as IBM Lotus Notes Traveler, World traveler App, Quick office Dynamic Premium, Mail for Exchange, F-Secure anti-theft software and Adobe PDF Reader and many others. At this time, the new Nokia E7 is only available from the Indian market, but we are confident that in the next coming months Nokia will unveil a new Windows mobile device worldwide.
