Barnes & Noble Nook Color, Simple Touch E-Readers, $20 Off

B&N Nook ColorBarnes & Noble is gearing up for the release of its $139 Nook Simple Touch with Glowlight (which our reviewer practically did backflips over, awarding an amazing 4.5 of 5 stars), so perhaps it is no surprise that the e-book seller is dropping the price on its Nook Simple Touch and Nook Color readers--albeit for a limited time. Head to the Barnes & Noble site by Mother's Day and you'll pay only $79 for the Simple Touch and $149 for the Nook Color (which is also an Android tablet).

Samsung MV800 16.1MP Compact Camera, $158

Samsung MV80Our camera expert called the 16-megapixel Samsung MV800 "part touchscreen camera, part book." The back of the camera features a 3-inch LCD that flips up on hinges to aid with self-portraits and odd-angle shots--and it can also act as a built-in tripod. The MV800 listed for $280 when it launched last September, and these days the price has dropped to about $200-250 online. B&H Photo has a great deal online at the moment--only $158, with no tax and free shipping.
