Netgear N600 Wireless Router, $78

Netgear N600Netgear's N600 dual-bank wireless router earned 4 of 5 stars in our review when it launched last year. HP Folio 13 Ultrabook, $800

Folio 13The HP Folio 13 is the company's first Ultrabook, a slim laptop with a long 9-hour battery life. It scored 4 of 5 stars in recent testing, and our reviewer summed it up like so: "excellent performance and battery life, a fetchingly minimalist design, and a typing experience that thinner units can't match." Our review unit sells for $899, but BuyDig.com is selling a similar model for only $849 (with free shipping)--the lowest price online at the moment. Even better: Send in a rebate form and get $50 back.

Free and Cheap Software for Benchmarking like a ProWhether you're a power user or a novice, there has never been a better time to learn about benchmarking. Some people enjoy exploring the cutting-edge 3d engines employed in some gaming benchmarks, while others take their custom-painted, neon-lit rigs into competitions for speed just as serious as their four-wheeled hot rod counterparts on real racetracks. Just about every major tech blog or hardware site uses one or more of the suites in this roundup. Despite the power, they're easy to use.
