New Low: Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet (16GB), $340

ThinkPad TabletLenovo's ThinkPad Tablet aims directly at business users. Its bulky utilitarian design probably cost it half a star, though; our reviewer gave it 3.5 out of 5 stars. The tablet has a 10.1-inch screen and runs on Android 3.1 Honeycomb; it's packed with ports, including USB 2.0, a dock connector, a micro-USB port, a Mini-HDMI connector, media card reader, and SDHC Card and SIM card slots. The 16GB version launched at $499 last year, and just a couple months ago it sold for about $400 online--but right now ANT Online is selling it for only $340, with free shipping.

HP Omni 27 All-in-One Core i5 PC, $1000

Omni 27HP's Omni 27 all-in-one desktop PC has a gorgeous 27-inch screen and runs on Intel's Core i5 processor. Though its performance was impressive, it earned only 3.5 out of 5 stars in our review--mainly because the Omni 27 does not have a touchscreen display and its integrated graphics faltered a bit with games. Normally HP sells the Core i5 configuration for $1350, and our review model came in at $1250. Use coupon code DTE3284 at Dell's checkout, however, and you'll pay only $1000--with free shipping.

Samsung UN46D8000 46-Inch 3D HDTV, $1579

Samsung UN46D8000Samsung's UN46D800, a 46-inch 3D LED HDTV, earned 4.5 out of 5 stars in our review last year for its top-notch image quality, outstanding features, and good color in 3D scenes. As much as our reviewer liked it, however, she took issue with its $2700 list price at the time. Prices have dropped, though, and for a limited time Abe's of Maine is selling the UN46D800 for $1579, with free shipping.

Free and Cheap Software for Benchmarking like a ProWhether you're a power user or a novice, there has never been a better time to learn about benchmarking. Some people enjoy exploring the cutting-edge 3d engines employed in some gaming benchmarks, while others take their custom-painted, neon-lit rigs into competitions for speed just as serious as their four-wheeled hot rod counterparts on real racetracks. Just about every major tech blog or hardware site uses one or more of the suites in this roundup. Despite the power, they're easy to use.
