What's the most expensive part of a printer? If you correctly answered "the ink," that probably means you own an inkjet or multifunction printer and have some experience buying expensive new cartridges. So does Melissa Riofrio, PCWorld's resident printer expert. She's been keeping track of ink prices for years, and in "The Best Deals on Printer Ink," she's calculated how various vendors' ink prices stack up. Turns out, ink costs vary widely, and when a single four-color printout can run a whopping 27.5 cents for a single page, it pays to shop around. Read Riofrio's analysis to learn how you can save some cash, either today or when you're shopping for your next printer.
