Eschewing dinner dishes for breakfast favorites every now and again is a fun way to shake up your family meals. Who wouldn't love a hot stack of pancakes with hash browns at night?

Dinner is the New Breakfast
Don't get me wrong, my mom's meatloaf and casseroles are delicious, but it was always a special treat when I'd come home from school and see her in the kitchen getting French toast or blueberry waffles ready for dinner.

Breakfasts Kids Will Love for Dinner
As prolific as my mom is in the kitchen, I think even she'd be impressed by our Guide to Cooking for Kids' sounds-like-it's-bad-for-you-but-isn't recipe for blueberry waffle cream-cheese sandwiches.

Pancake Recipes from Around the World
The French do crepes, Italians make crespelle, Indians specialize in hot-and-crispy dosa, while in the States we serve our flapjacks stacked high, slathered in butter, and drenched in maple syrup. They're all delicious any time of the day.

British Breakfast for Dinner: Kedgeree
You've probably never tried kedgeree unless you've visited or are from Britain (or India), but we think you'll love it. Traditionally served for breakfast, kedgeree -- with its zesty mix of curry powder, lemon juice, and basmati rice -- easily doubles as a light lunch or dinner.
