BlackBerry PlayBook 64GB Tablet, $299
RIM's 7-inch BlackBerry PlayBook initially lacked a dedicated email client or support for Android apps, which led to lackluster reviews. Recently, though, RIM announced an upgrade to the PlayBook OS that adds email, contacts, and calendar applications; an updated home screen; and support for Android apps. Once that upgrade hits devices, the PlayBook may well become a player in the tablet market. Right now you can grab a 64GB version of the 7-inch device at Newegg.com for only $299 (with free shipping)--about $50 less than other deals I've seen online.

Lenovo ThinkPad X120e Ultraportable, $299
When our reviewer tested Lenovo's ThinkPad X120e last year, he was torn: Should he consider the portable an underperforming laptop or a fantastic netbook? After careful consideration, he gave the ThinkPad X120e four of five stars as a top-notch business netbook. Lenovo's ultraportable-cum-netbook usually sells for about $480, but Walmart is selling the X120e for only $299, with 97-cent shipping.
