Meet the Smart For-Us Concept Truck

Smart For-Us Concept TruckDetroit's North American International Auto Show began early this week with press and industry previews, and although a few trucks have been in the spotlight, it's pretty much a car-and-crossover event -- again. One new concept at the show came from an unexpected source. Smart's For-Us electric truck is a 2-seater, aerodynamically engineered little vehicle with cargo space that's designed to carry a couple of Smart ebikes.

Jeep Hurricane Concept
Jeep's Hurricane is one of my personal favorite concepts. It's powered by two HEMI engines and capable of running on on either 4, 8, 12 or 16 cylinders. The Hurricane has a unique way of getting around that would let it go nearly anywhere a driver wants to take it.

The North American International Auto Show will be open to the public from January 14th through the 22nd. Learn a little about the show's history, and what you can expect to see if you travel to Detroit to attend.

Suzuki X-HEAD Concept Truck

suzuki xhead concept truckSuzuki's X-HEAD truck was introduced about four years ago, and remains a popular concept. The truck can be set up with one of three distinct modules to make it useful for specific needs, like the Camper module that sleeps two, and the Fashion configuration that's designed for urban use. The third setup is called the Rescue -- it preps the truck for search and rescue operations.
