Creative Chords Part # 2

Are you ready for more chord creativity?

This lesson has some unique chords because we're now working with an open string that is between 2 strings that are fingered.

This creates a lower note that sounds perfectly normal to start with but get displaced by an octave as you move up the fingerboard.

This open "G" string will also create more ambiguous sounds. Again, the context of the music will dictate what you call some of these shapes.

Take a look at the A13...this chord doesn't contain a root, 3rd or 7th however, if a bass player plays an "A" this will sound like an A13.

Your nexyt question may be, "major13 or Dominant13?" Well, it depends on the context of the material, of course.
