From Aaron Gold, your Guide to Cars
Two new test drives this week: One of the hot-rod Civic Si, and one of a Japanese-market minivan from Mitsubishi. And with the new year coming up, I'm looking back on the new 2012s I've enjoyed the most as I get ready to compile my Best New Cars of 2012 list.

Test drive: 2012 Honda Civic Si
I'm a Honda kid at heart, so I always look forward to a new version of the Civic Si -- but I've found that some versions are better than others. So is the all-new 2012 Honda Civic Si one of the better ones? Find out in my 2012 Honda Civic Si test drive.

Turning Japanese: Driving the Mitsubishi Delica
Mitsubishi offered up a very interesting set of wheels fr my Thanksgiving road trip: The Delica D:5, a minivan that they sell back home in the Japanese market. Find out more about this intriguing van.

Test drive: 2012 Volkswagen Jetta GLI
Like the Civic Si, the Jetta GLI is another long-time favorite of mine -- but unlike the Honda, I've never driven a Jetta GLI I didn't like. My Jetta GLI review will tell you why I'm so fond of this one.

Test drive: 2012 Hyundai Veloster
I was intrigued by the Veloster from the moment I saw it. I know the car's come under criticism for its lack of power -- there is a turbo version on the way, so no worries, as far as I'm concerned -- but I loved the way Hyundai picked a theme and stuck to it. Check out the Veloster.
